Who we are
Fate Community Theatre is a brand new nonprofit theatre company in Fate, Texas, making live theatre with and for the people of Rockwall and Hunt County — on stage, backstage, and in the seats.
We were founded in 2026 by Kortney Curtis, on the simple idea that a town this size should not have to drive to see a play, and that anyone who wants to make one should be able to. Our first production is Oscar Wilde’s Lady Windermere’s Fan, cast entirely from open auditions.
We are a community of artists making theatre for its own sake, with a place for every member of the community, from cast to crew and audience to stage ghost.
